Overview

Set out with a group of like-minded people on a tailor-made traverse that you won’t find anywhere else, a one-of-a-kind hut-to-hut trek infused with personal growth.

Welcome to the northern French Alps, in the Fiz and Aiguilles Rouges : two mountain ranges located right in front of Mont Blanc.
These mountain ranges have it all : stunning lakes, sharp peaks, technical trails and unforgettable views. We’ve crafted this five-day trek to show you the beauty of this corner of the Alps — a route stitched together from paths that are truly beautiful, and for some far from the crowds.
Thomas (your guide, and proud local from Passy) has spent the past ten years exploring every nook of these mountains— running, skiing, wandering, pausing. This route is his personal creation: a custom signed adventure that leads you over calm mountain lakes, through wide open silence, along little-known trails, and to cosy, off-grid mountain huts where the fondue is hot, the stars are sharp, and the card games never end on time.
For Hike & Heal, Joséphine developed a unique method that weaves personal growth into the rhythm of a trek. Think of it as an inner pilgrimage. At its heart are your personal development and connection — with yourself, with others, and with nature. Short group learning moments around universally relatable themes alternate with interactive exercises and warm reflections. Those who wish can also opt for individual sessions to dive deeper into specific questions or themes. The result? You return grounded, empowered, and more fully yourself. And that's what you deserve.
Oh, and if you thought personal growth had to be serious or heavy? … Think again. We’re making it fun!

Day 1
After a nice bus ride to Plaine Joux, it's time to start our 5 days hike! From Plaine Joux, we will head to the Col du Bormerousse walking on only local known path. This first uphill can be challenging but we'll just take our time. From the col, it's more an up and down wild path to the beautiful refuge de Platé, for our first cosy evening and night.

Day 2
From Platé, we will now be on the Tour des Fiz, which is a nice loop where we might see more hikers than the previous day. Platé is the largest limestone plateau in Europe, and it's really stunning. Our goal of the day is another beautiful mountain hut, located right under the Fiz cliffs and where we might see vultures, eagles and ibexes.

Day 3
The third day will definitely be the shortest one in terms of hiking. This will allow us to take our time, some long breaks and observe nature and wildlife in particular. The stunning Lac d'Anterne and then col d'Anterne will be the two highlights of this day. From the col, we will descend to the Refuge Moëde Anterne to spend the night.

Day 4
It's already the 4th day, the day we switch from the Fiz mountain range to the Aiguilles Rouges mountain range! Different rocks, colors and therefore plants and animals and an even closer view from the Mont Blanc. The trails might be a little more technical here but really beautiful too expect no crowd on the big uphill of the day and a little more then when we reach the ridge. Then we have a sort downhill to the refuge de Bellachat.

Day 5

The final day will be about descending back to the valley! From the refuge, we will hike the last 100 meters of the tour, toward Aiguillettes des Houches which may be the best spot around to see Mont Blanc! And from there then, it's only about going down to Servoz. A little mountain village with a train station, where our tour ends. The train will take us back to Saint Gervais.
